ABOUT THE MUSIC
Minimalist Worrier takes you on a journey to places you've been to in the past. Their melancholic sounds capture mementos from moments past, allowing you to revisit them at any given point in time. May it be a busy train station in a big city or a quiet river nestled in calming countryside. Encapsulating moods and athmospheres in no fuss-tracks. Ranging from orchestral arrangements to electric breakdowns, paired with samples from real places around the world, the soundscapes created offer you a break from the hectic of the outside world.
BEHIND MINIMALIST WORRIER
Rahel von Arx, the creative mind behind Minimalist Worrier, startet her musical career playing the flute in her local orchestra. Expanding her instrument portfolio, she added acoustic guitar and later electric bass to the ever-growing list. Taking part in Helvetiarockt's band workshops in 2018, she established her first acoustic duo Fast Forward, which later transformed into her current band called Mayra.
Delving deeper into the field of electronic music production and music technology, von Arx went on to study those subjects at the London Academy of Music Production. Back in Switzerland, she's working on her solo project called Minimalist Worrier, in which she combines her musical know-how and strives to produce and relase her music single-handedly.
